Contemporary low impact line dancing for exercise and fitness over 50. (You do not have to be 50 to take this class but it will be low impact and slower paced.)
Line dancing isn't just country anymore, it's cha cha, waltz, tango, swing and much more. The music for line dancing is from every generation and all venues. Low Impact Line Dancing has been proven to ease the obstacles of aging if done weekly, It is the third most popular extra curricular activity in the world for those over the age of 50.
Dancing can help:
• strengthen bones and muscles without hurting your joints
• tone your entire body
• improve your posture and balance, which can prevent falls
• increase your stamina and flexibility
• reduce stress and tension
• build confidence
• provide opportunities to meet people, and
• ward off illnesses like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, osteoporosis, and depression
